Inventory
MRBC performed a comprehensive inventory of the
various types of land use throughout the Maumee River Basin.
Aerial photography flown in 1996 was used in Adams, DeKalb, Noble,
and Steuben Counties. Allen County's Land Use data is from
1986 aerial photography.
The inventory was broken down into six (6) major
categories: Cropland, Woodland, Non-Agricultural, Conservation
Reserve Program (CRP), Residential, and Ponds. This inventory
will serve as the Baseline Data for the purpose of monitoring future
Land Use changes throughout the Maumee River Basin.
