Attention!
MAP CHANGES ARE ON THE WAY!
ADAMS COUNTY - Adams County Flood
Maps are being revised to reflect new Hydraulic Modeling performed
by the Maumee River Basin Commission. The new maps will be
Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMS) and will be converted to
the new "County-wide" format, thus eliminating individual
panels for cities and towns.
ALLEN COUNTY - Allen County Flood
Maps are being revised to reflect new Hydraulic Modeling performed
by the Maumee River Basin Commission. The new maps will be
Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMS). Areas of change
will be along the St. Marys, St. Joseph, and Maumee Rivers as well
as along the Fairfield Ditch.
DEKALB COUNTY - DeKalb County Flood
Insurance Rate Maps have been revised and will be available within
the next six months. The new maps will include high-resolution
aerial photography and feature recently completed Flood Insurance
Studies. The new Digital
Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs) will be compatible with DeKalb
County Graphic Information System (GIS).
CITY OF FORT WAYNE - A number of properties are being protected
by the City of Fort Wayne's Diking Project and may have been Reclassified
from Zone AE to Zone X (dashed), which denotes areas protected by
the new dike. Please call the Maumee River Basin Commission Office
at (260) 449-7226 if you have questions regarding properties located
in these areas.
